more and more promising.
Financial planner awareness campaign
With this in mind, we decided to promote financial planners and
their expertise. We wanted to be sure that the financial planner is
on everyone's mind, so in March we launched a financial planner
awareness campaign.
You have no doubt seen the TV ads promoting the F.Pl. profession
and the value it offers to Quebecers. The TV ads were supported by
a social media campaign, and planifiez.org was rejigged to reflect the
campaign message. We also called on all of you financial planners!
For campaigns like this to have the biggest possible impact, you have
to act as a catalyst and share it.
Report: Financial Planning Week 2015
The new awareness campaign was similar to our Financial Planning
Week campaign, which was very successful. Our Financial Planning
Week TV ad was aired nearly 700 times on Radio-Canada, RDI and
Explora. The web contest received nearly 30,000 applications, and
over 23,000 people visited planifiez.org in November 2015.
On social media, especially Facebook, our campaign was highly
effective. In November, the activity on our page (including our posts,
posts from other people on our page, ads, mentions and visits)
was viewed 484,090 times and our posts were shared, liked and
commented 7,044 times!

My second term as Chair of the Board is already drawing to an end.
I want to thank our volunteers, teachers and board members, as well
as CEO Jocelyne Houle-LeSarge and her team, for all their work and
support during my time at the helm.
I am proud to have been the third female president of the IQPF
Board, especially since, for the first time, the board now has a
balanced number of women and men!
