Donald MacOdrum is a partner at Bereskin & Parr LLP. His practice focuses on intellectual property

Jennifer McKenzie is a partner with Bereskin & Parr LLP and head of the Regulatory, Advertising & Mar-

Cynthia Rowden is counsel with Bereskin & Parr LLP. She spent years as Head of the firm's Trademark
Group, and is a former chair of the firm. She specializes in all areas of trademark and copyright law. Much
of her practice relates to managing both international and Canadian trademark portfolios. In addition to
being a frequent writer and speaker, Cynthia has chaired on numerous committees involved in trademark
law, Internet and domain name law and international trademark protection. She is a past president of the
Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and currently a member of the Institute's Trademark Leg-
islation Committee. She was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the International Trademark
Association (INTA), which she received the President's Award from, for her volunteer services. She currently
chairs the Canada subcommittee of the Legislation and Regulation Committee. She was recently listed in

Ken is a Partner in Dentons' Toronto office. He focuses on the areas of media, entertainment and intellectual
property law. Ken primarily practices in the film, television, book publishing and live theatre industries. His
national and international clients are involved in a wide range of activities from financing to production and
distribution. He acts for banks, film and television producers, distributors, broadcasters as well as creators
and artists. He frequently advises clients in the areas of Canadian tax incentives, which he combines with
international incentives, treaty co-productions and co-ventures, and structuring productions to maximize
the benefits of these programmes. His experience also extends to working directly and extensively with
Canadian guilds and governmental and private agencies on behalf of his Canadian and foreign clients.
