Jason Madden Pape Salter Teillet LLP Aboriginal Law Jason Madden is Co-managing Partner of Pape Salter Teillet and a citizen of the Métis Nation. He specializes in Indigenous rights law with an emphasis on litigation, consul- tation and accommodation-related matters, as well as the negotiation and implementa- tion of modern-day treaties. Madden has appeared in all Supreme Court of Canada cases dealing with Métis legal issues over the last 15 years. In 2016, he represented the Métis National Council before the Supreme Court of Canada in Daniels v. Canada, which confirmed that the Métis are includ- ed as Indians within section 91(24) of the Constitution Act, 1867 and fall within Par- liament's exclusive legislative authority.
