Norwest Venture Partners is a Palo Alto,
California-based global venture and growth
equity investment firm. Georgian Partners is
a Toronto-based growth equity firm that in-
vests in business soware companies.
Norwest was represented in the US by
Goodwin Procter LLP, with a team led by

Simms. In Canada, Norwest was represented

SNC-LAVALIN FINALIZES
SALE OF ITS INTEREST
IN MALTA INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT
CLOSING DATE: MARCH 30, 2016
On March 30, 2016, SNC-Lavalin Group
Inc. (SNCL) announced that it had reached
financial close on the sale of its indirect
ownership interest in MMLC Holdings
Malta Limited (formerly, SNC-Lavalin
(Malta) Limited (SNCL Malta)) to an affili-
ate of Flughafen Wien AG (VIE), the oper-
ator of Vienna International Airport and a
company that is publicly traded on the Vien-
na Stock Exchange, for total cash considera-
tion of approximately 64 million euros. e
agreement to sell such interest was previously
announced by SNC-Lavalin on February 1,
2016. SNCL Malta holds a 38.75 per cent
interest in Malta Mediterranean Link Con-
sortium Limited, which, in turn, has a 40 per
cent interest in Malta International Airport
plc, a company that is publicly traded on the
Malta Stock Exchange.
SNCL was represented in-house by Aron
Halpern. SNCL was supported by Norton
Rose Fulbright Canada LLP, who acted
as Canadian legal counsel, with a team
composed of Eric Stevens, Michelle Felsky
and Emil Vanjaka (corporate) and Derek
Chiasson and Antoine Desroches (tax). Ar-
thur Galea Salomone of Galea Salomone
& Associates acted as Maltese legal coun-
sel to SNCL.

ALLTECH ACQUIRES
MASTERFEEDS
CLOSING DATE: JANUARY 8, 2016
On January 8, 2016, Alltech acquired 100
per cent of the outstanding shares of Master-
feeds Inc. from Ag Processing Inc., a farmer-
owned cooperative based in Omaha, Neb-
raska, in order to have complete ownership of
Masterfeeds LP.
