Gordon Capern is a senior partner and a leader of the corporate and commercial litigation
practice. Advises clients and acted as counsel in the resolution of disputes in many areas
of corporate and commercial activity, including issues arising from complex commercial
transactions, including M&A in a variety of industries, liability of professional advisors,
shareholder and partnership disputes, director, officer and employee litigation, with
expertise in their fiduciary obligations, and franchises and dealerships. He is recognized

Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada. He is also ranked in Chambers

Practice focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on matters
