Called to the Ontario Bar in 1981, Ken Rosenberg is an advocate before all levels
of court and tribunals in Canada and in cross-border US and European disputes. His
practice focuses on commercial, corporate, shareholder, regulatory and insolvency/
restructuring disputes. Rosenberg has acted as counsel to a wide range of stakeholders,
including debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, pension plans, unions, class-action
plaintiff s, court offi cers and public/government authorities. Files from the last 10‒12
years with cross-border components have included: Air Canada, Algoma Steel, Stelco,
ABCP, Fraser Paper, Collins & Aikman, Nortel, Indalex, Sino Forest and Lac Megantic/
MM&A. Rosenberg also regularly acts as a mediator and sometimes as an arbitrator in
commercial and regulatory disputes. Rosenberg has worked for three diff erent ministries
in the Ontario government as an executive assistant to the minister for the Ministry of
Consumer and Commercial Relations, the Ministry of Financial Institutions and the
Ministry of Industry, Trade and Technology.
