Sylvia Adriano practices all aspects of commercial real estate law. Adriano also provides
advice on land development and acts for clients involved in the acquisition, investment,
development and management of real property. She assists her clients with all aspects of
their real estate development projects and has negotiated and dra ed all related agree-
ments, including encroachment agreements, site plan and development agreements,
cost-sharing agreements, reciprocal easement and operating agreements and restrictive
covenants. Adriano's practice has a particular emphasis on commercial and retail facilities
and shopping center development. She acts for major retail clients with respect to their
acquisition, development and expansion of all types of retail facilities. In 2014, Adriano

Eva Bellissimo is a partner whose practice focuses on M&A and corporate fi nance.
She regularly assists bidders, target companies and special committees in developing
strategy and executing a variety of M&A transactions, including arrangements, going-
private transactions, take-over bids and other business combinations. In her corporate
fi nance practice, Bellissimo advises issuers and investment banks in a variety of indus-
tries – including mining and technology – on public-equity off erings, convertible
debt transactions, private-equity transactions and strategic investments. Bellissimo
has also led issuers through proxy contests and advised with respect to activist share-
holder actions. She lectures on mining corporate fi nance at Western University Law
School and is the Chair of the Advisory Council for the DAN Management Program at
Western University. Bellissimo was selected as one of Lexpert®'s "Rising Stars: Leading
Lawyers Under 40" in 2014. Bellissimo holds a certifi cate in Mining Law and was called
to the Ontario Bar in 2002.
