Julius Koo is a managing director at FTI Consulting and since 2004 has practiced exclu-
sively in the areas of business valuation and damages quantifi cation related to commercial
disputes and international arbitrations. Koo has prepared independent business valuation
reports in a wide range of industries and has prepared independent expert reports on dam-
ages related to disputes arising in North America, South America, Europe and Africa. He
has prepared expert reports fi led in the Federal Court of Canada and the Ontario Superior
Court of Justice. He has also been involved in preparing expert reports for international
arbitrations in various arbitral institutions, including ICSID, ICC, and AAA's ICDR.
Recent industry experience includes pharmaceuticals, so ware, mining, oil & gas, fi nan-
cial services, and food & beverages.
Denis Hamel is an MNP Investigative and Forensic Services Partner. Drawing on 28
years' experience, Hamel works closely with law enforcement, legal counsel and business
leaders to address critical litigious issues. Hamel delivers strong advice and innovative solu-
tions in the areas of fraud investigation, risk assessment and damage quantifi cation. He has
led numerous complex mandates and testifi ed as an expert in court.
David Malamed, a partner with Grant ornton LLP, is a forensic accounting and inves-
tigation expert. He has testifi ed, investigated, reported and managed numerous fraud in-
vestigations involving both civil and criminal allegations. Malamed has qualifi ed as an ex-
pert and testifi ed numerous times in both Ontario and Superior Court.
Chris Milburn is a managing director at FTI Consulting and has provided expert dam-
age quantifi cation and business valuation consulting services since 1997. He has acted as
an advisor to private and public companies, regulatory bodies and governments across a
wide range of industries. Milburn's work experience covers matters in Canada, the United
States, Europe, Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa. His areas of specialty
include quantifying economic damages and performing business valuations in the context
of international arbitration, commercial litigation and insurance litigation. Milburn is rec-
ognized as a leading expert witness on numerous occasions, most recently at the Perma-
nent Court of Arbitration at the World Bank in Washington, DC. Milburn is recognized
as a leading expert in the fi eld of damages and valuation in the International Who's Who of
Commercial Arbitration.
