PRODUCT LIABILITY
Scott Maidment has over 20 years of advocacy experience before courts and arbitration
tribunals throughout Canada. He is Co-chair of McMillan LLP's National Class Action
Practice and Co-chair of its Product Liability Group. Maidment has achieved interna-
tional recognition for his expertise in product liability litigation and class actions, particu-
larly in the life sciences sector. Reviewers have described him as a "quite brilliant strategist"
who "stands out" for his class-action work. He has appeared in e Lexpert®/American
Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, Best Lawyers' Guide to the Legal
Profession in Canada, e World's Leading Product Liability Lawyers, the International

Michael Eizenga is Chair of Bennett Jones' Class Actions Practice. A Fellow of the
ACTL, Eizenga is one of Canada's leading class-action litigators and is recognized in
Chambers Global, e Best Lawyers in Canada and e Canadian Legal Lexpert® Direc-
tory, as well as e Lexpert®/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Can-
ada. Among other published works, Eizenga is co-author of Class Actions Law and Prac-
tice. Eizenga is Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, teaching
