Margaret McNee advises issuers, underwriters and others on cross-border off erings
of securities, M&A transactions, corporate governance and ongoing compliance
with securities regulation as Co-chair, Capital Markets and as Co-chair, Corporate

From 1990 to 1991 McNee was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission's
corporate fi nance branch to assist in various policy initiatives. In 1994 she served as a

interprovincial securities harmonization. McNee is the former Chair of the McMillan
LLP Board of Partners and the Board of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario.
She is a former Co-chair of the Board of the Canadian Art Foundation and is the

Ernest McNee is a partner who practices in the areas of corporate fi nance and securities

securities law matters. McNee advises acquirers and target companies in take-overs,
plans of arrangement and negotiated merger transactions. He acts for investors,
