She is an experienced tax lawyer who has practiced in both Alberta and BC. He is a cap- ital markets, securities, regulatory and corporate lawyer with over 20 years of experience advising clients in the financial services industry. He advises issuers in all industries, as well as Canadian and foreign deal- ers, on legal and compliance issues in accessing the Canadian capital markets when offering securities in public offerings and private place- ments. He provides Canadian and foreign registrants with advice on complying with the Canadian securities regulatory. Gilles Leclerc has joined Fasken Martineau Dumoulin LLP as Coun- sel, Leader of Securities Knowledge Management, as part of the Cor- porate/Commercial Law group. He returns to the firm after serving as Senior Director of corporate finance and then as Superintendent of Secur- ities Markets, and a member of the executive committee of the Autorité des marchés financiers. While so employed he supervised the develop- ment and implementation in Québec of securities regulations governing capital markets, derivatives and market structures. Her Employment Law practice involves ad- vising employers on matters including the termination of employment, secondment agreements, and human rights issues such as discrimination and duty to accommodate. Comley has appeared before arbitrators, ad- ministrative tribunals, the Labour Relations Board, the Provincial Court of British Col- umbia, and the BC Supreme Court. Also joining Miller omson LLP's Van- couver office is associate Jada Tellier, in the Commercial Real Estate group. She collab- orates with internal and external parties to ensure that clients' real estate matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
