She is an experienced tax lawyer who
has practiced in both Alberta and BC.
She advises on domestic and inter-
national Corporate Taxation matters,
focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions,
complex reorganizations, debt and
equity financings, divestitures and
restructurings, and has extensive ex-
pertise in cross-border transactions.
She acts as a lead tax advisor to
high-profile public and private business
entities, Fortune 500 companies
and large private equity funds.

Andre G. Poles has joined Dickinson
Wright LLP as a partner. He is a cap-
ital markets, securities, regulatory
and corporate lawyer with over 20
years of experience advising clients
in the financial services industry. He
advises issuers in all industries, as
well as Canadian and foreign deal-
ers, on legal and compliance issues
in accessing the Canadian capital
markets when offering securities in
public offerings and private place-
ments. He provides Canadian and
foreign registrants with advice
on complying with the Canadian
securities regulatory.
Gilles Leclerc has joined Fasken
Martineau Dumoulin LLP as Coun-
sel, Leader of Securities Knowledge
Management, as part of the Cor-
porate/Commercial Law group. He
returns to the firm after serving as
Senior Director of corporate finance
and then as Superintendent of Secur-
ities Markets, and a member of the
executive committee of the Autorité
des marchés financiers. While so
employed he supervised the develop-
ment and implementation in Québec
of securities regulations governing
capital markets, derivatives
and market structures.
Her Employment Law practice involves ad-
vising employers on matters including the
termination of employment, secondment
agreements, and human rights issues such as
discrimination and duty to accommodate.
Comley has appeared before arbitrators, ad-
ministrative tribunals, the Labour Relations
Board, the Provincial Court of British Col-
umbia, and the BC Supreme Court.
Also joining Miller omson LLP's Van-
couver office is associate Jada Tellier, in the
Commercial Real Estate group. She collab-
orates with internal and external parties to
ensure that clients' real estate matters are
handled efficiently and effectively.

Terrance Hughes, QC, a senior partner in
the Calgary Energy & Infrastructure Group
of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP, re-
tired from the firm's partnership on May
31, 2019.
Also in Calgary, Kevin Mehi has joined
MLT Aikins LLP as an associate lawyer. He
advises clients in the areas of commercial
real estate, Energy, corporate governance
and other general Corporate/Commercial
matters, and has worked with sports and
recreational organizations and venues on
commercial matters including rentals and
facility use arrangements, catering agree-
ments, marketing and sponsorship, contests
and gaming, project funding, and recrea-
tional sport waivers. He also has experience
in compliance matters including occupa-
tional health and safety, occupiers' liability,
privacy and data protection.
Molly McIntosh has joined MLT Ai-

Katie Comley has joined Miller om-
son LLP as an associate in the firm's Van-
couver office. With a background in the
public sector, she has broad exposure to
working with a large employer and in di-
verse sectors across British Columbia. In
the Labour law context, she provides advice
to employers on a wide range of matters
and represents their interests in litigation.
