As Senior Corporate Counsel on Indigo's
in-house legal team, Chad Aboud has
worked closely with internal clients and
outside IP counsel to pave the way for an ex-
pansion of the business into the US. Aboud
was a key member of the deal team for a
complex Intellectual Property acquisition,
which was unique to Indigo, the buyer, and
its phased approach at providing continuity
of business operations to the seller was also
unique to the industry. e IP acquired was
critical to the organization's digital growth
objectives. Aboud is a mentor for the Os-
goode/Schulich JD MBA Program, provid-
ing advice and career-planning support to
students. He has been an advisor and dedi-
cated business partner to the Indigo Love
of Reading Foundation, which promotes
children's literacy, and helped lead the In-
digo team to victory in the 2017 Toronto
Corporate Run.
