e Trans Mountain Expansion Project
is one of the largest, most complex and po-
litically charged projects to be constructed in
Canada in the last few decades and is a proj-
ect of National importance. e Project is
estimated to cost approximately $7.4 billion.
Bennett Jones LLP acted as lead external
counsel on project construction matters for
Trans Mountain Pipeline L.P., and Bennett
Jones's assistance included the preparation
and negotiation of construction contracts
required for the completion of the Trans
Mountain Expansion Project. e team
consisted of Jason Roth, omas McIner-
ney, Geoff Stenger, Stephen Burns (IP), Si-
mon Foxcro (HSE) and Bradley Eidsness,
with Jason Roth as team lead for the Lower
Mainland Facility, omas McInerney as

On July 31, 2018, Galaxy Digital Holdings
Ltd. (Galaxy) completed an arrangement
transaction pursuant to which Bradmer
Pharmaceuticals Inc., Galaxy Digital LP and
First Coin Capital Corp. combined to form a
new enterprise in the blockchain, digital as-
set and cryptocurrency space.
In connection with the completion of the
arrangement transaction, escrowed funds
from a previously-completed subscription
receipt financing of approximately $305 mil-
lion were released to Galaxy. GMP Securities
L.P. acted as sole agent in the offering of sub-
scription receipts.
Galaxy Digital LP was led by its in-house
counsel team comprising Andrew Siegel,
Kim Pillemer and Francesca Don Angelo. In
Canada, it was represented by Blake, Cas-
sels & Graydon LLP, with a team compris-
