Derrick Tay leads the firm's corporate restructuring practice. His primary focus is on the restructuring and

Rebecca is a partner at TGF practicing in the insolvency and restructuring group. She has experience
in receiverships, security enforcement, creditors' rights, debtor protection and corporate restructuring.
She has represented lenders, debtors, court officers and DIP financiers in regional, national and cross-border
insolvencies. Rebecca's recent representative work includes acting as: (i) lead counsel to RCR International
Inc. and W.J. Dennis & Company in connection with their sale under the CCAA and Chapter 15 of the US
Bankruptcy Code; (ii) counsel to PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. in its role as the court appointed monitor
of Pacific Exploration and Production Corporation and its subsidiaries, which debtors undertook a cross-
border restructuring under the CCAA, Chapter 15 of the US Bankruptcy Code and a foreign recognition
under Law 1116 of 2006 in Colombia; and (iii) lead counsel to GuestLogix Inc. and its international
subsidiaries with respect to their restructuring under the CCAA. Rebecca has been recognized

D.J. Miller is a partner in the insolvency and restructuring group of ornton Grout Finnigan LLP and has
represented a wide variety of stakeholders in many cross-border proceedings. She was lead Canadian insol-
vency counsel to the UK Pension Claimants in the Nortel Networks case, in obtaining a precedent-setting
pro rata allocation of $7.3 billion of sale proceeds among more than 40 insolvency estates in Canada, the US
and Europe following the first joint trial conducted by a Canadian and US Court. D.J. has extensive experi-
ence on the transactional side of restructurings as well as insolvency litigation, and has appeared before every
level of court in Canada. She is known for her deep knowledge of the insolvency framework, both domestic
and international, and for applying analytical and strategic skills to achieve successful outcomes for her
clients. D.J. was named "Insolvency Litigator of the Year" (2016 and 2018) by Benchmark Canada Litigation
and received a Zenith award from Lexpert and an Exemplar Award from the Turnaround Management
Association (TMA Toronto), each in 2017.
