with police associations across Ontario and
acts for police associations in tough cases
involving police-sector labour relations.
She represents unions and their members
in human rights litigation. Jones advises
her police association clients on govern-
ment legislation affecting their rights, and
also carries on a union-side labour practice
representing unions and their members at
grievance arbitrations, Labour Boards and
the courts. She Co-chairs the annual Police
Association of Ontario Emerging Issues
and Legal Developments conference.

Terra Klinck focuses on being an employer-
side pension and benefits lawyer. In 2017,
Klinck, along with three colleagues, es-
tablished BMKP, the first pension and
benefits boutique law firm in Canada.
A highly sought-aer expert, she advises
some of Canada's largest private-sector
employers on complex and novel pension
plan restructuring. She is an instructor of
the Pension Law Certificate Program with
Osgoode Professional Development, and is
regularly sought out as a speaker, allowing
her to share her knowledge and expertise
with other professionals.
Paul Litner

Paul Litner is Chair of his firm's Pensions &
Benefits Department. His practice relates
exclusively to pensions, benefits and com-
pensation plans, and he deals extensively
with pension and benefits issues arising in
mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations.
He has assisted several clients in implement-
ing pension plan mergers, conversions and
other innovative plan consolidation strate-
gies. Litner has been engaged with the Asso-
ciation of Canadian Pension Management
over the past decade, and he was an active
member of its National Policy Commit-
tee and served a two-year term as Chair. In
2013, the ACPM honoured Litner with the
Association of Canadian Pension Manage-
ment Award for Exceptional Volunteerism.
He has authored numerous articles for re-
tirement industry publications.
Lisa J. Mills

Lisa Mills is an employer-side pension and
benefits lawyer, responsible for BMKP's fi-
nance portfolio. Mills served as a member,
and later Chair, of the Canadian Pension
and Benefits Institute's Ottawa Chapter.
She developed and subsequently taught
the pension law course for Queen's Uni-
versity Faculty of Law. Mills co-authored
the Public Pensions title of the Canadian
Encyclopedic Digest from 2012 -2015. She
also became involved with the special edu-
cation advisory committee of the Ottawa-
Carleton District School Board, represent-
ing the interests of special needs students
on the Board's Advisory Committee for
Extended Day and Child Care Programs.
