Jennifer Gray McInnes Cooper Corporate Commercial Law Jennifer Gray is a Project Management Partner who specializes in matters requiring expertise in project development and execu- tion. She assists in the scoping, planning and management of client projects involving significant legal activity. Gray also provides project management expertise in relation to complex litigation, including regulatory proceedings and commercial arbitrations. She has worked to bring the best technolo- gies and best practices to staff and lawyers at her firm's regional offices. Gray is also the project manager for Public Services and Procurement Canada in relation to the Na- tional Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy. Stephanie Hickman Cox & Palmer Construction Law With extensive experience in construc- tion litigation and mediation, Stephanie Hickman has helped pave the way for more women to pursue and advance in a male- dominated industry and practice area. She has worked on the largest construction projects in Newfoundland and Labrador over the past five years, notably the con- struction of the Processing Facility at Long Harbour, the Muskrat Falls Hydro Project and the Maritime Link. Hickman chairs her firm's regional Construction Law Group and was named a Fellow of the Ca- nadian College of Construction Lawyers, a significant honour as she is the only Fellow currently practising in her province. Chris Javornik BMO Financial Group Investment Funds & Asset Management Chris Javornik is Associate General Coun- sel and Managing Director at Bank of Montreal, leading a team of lawyers across North America, Europe and Asia to sup- port BMO Global Asset Management's worldwide focus. Javornik's M&A legal management expertise has been critical in supporting a series of strategic global M&A transactions at BMO. He has advocated to strategically relocate lawyers across juris- dictions to develop internal expertise, ac- celerate cooperation and knowledge shar- ing, and develop careers within BMO's Le- gal Group. Javornik has championed clear, concise and plain writing for clients. In his personal time, he enjoys coaching youth soccer and hockey. Martin Langelier Bombardier Recreational Products Corporate Commercial Law Senior Vice-President and General Coun- sel Martin Langelier heads Bombardier's le- gal department and was recently appointed its head of public affairs. Langelier played a key role in the company's IPO and he im- plemented its internal audit function. He has participated in many significant corpo- rate initiatives, including the refinancing of the company's $1-billion debt with advan- tageous terms and the implementation of a $350-million Normal Course Issuer Bid, one of the largest in Canadian history. In 2010, Langelier initiated Bombardier's cor- porate social responsibility program. He also acted as President of BRP's 2012 fund- raising campaign for the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke. Jennifer F. Longhurst Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP Mergers & Acquisitions Jennifer Longhurst specializes in public M&A, corporate finance securities and corporate commercial, with particular ex- pertise in the mining industry. Longhurst played a key role in the most high-profile proxy contest in Canada to date, acting for Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P. She teaches Corporate Transactions at Os- goode Hall Law School's Professional De- velopment LLM Program and is a member of the Corporate Governance Committees of the American Bar Association, the Ca- nadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
