In Vancouver, Miller omson LLP wel-
comed Mary Childs to its Social Impact
practice group. She provides focussed as-
sistance in the law relating to charities, not-
for-profits and co-operatives. She also serves
her clients as general counsel. In addition to
her law practice, Childs sits on the board of
the BC office of the Canadian Centre for
Policy Alternatives, where she is Treasurer
and Acting Chair.
Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP wel-
comed three corporate-commercial part-
ners in the firm's newly opened office in
Surrey, BC. ey are Randal Dhaliwal,
who places a particular emphasis on secured
lending, debt financings and real estate de-
velopment; Paul Grewal, who acts for buy-
ers, sellers, investors, developers and lenders
in all aspects of real estate and development;
and Jason Harris, who acts for entrepre-
neurs and professionals at all stages of busi-
ness development.
Natalia Tzemis rejoined Harper Grey
LLP as an associate in Vancouver. She is a
member of the firm's Construction, Insur-
ance, Professional Regulation, and Work-
place Law practice groups.

in Vancouver. He ad-

topher Manderville
joined Fasken Martin-

a partner with a focus
on international re-
source law. His prac-
tice involves corporate,
M&A, securities and
cross-border transac-
tions. Manderville has
managed transactions
around the globe.
Adrienne O'Reilly
moved to Fasken Mar-
tineau DuMoulin LLP
as a partner. She joins
MOVES
as a member of the firm's Securities, Merg-
ers & Acquisitions practice group, as well as
its Global Energy group, where she focuses
on structuring, finance, corporate gover-
nance, and energy law. O'Reilly has advised
a number of public and private company
boards of directors and committees.
Laura Mensch is now a partner at Miller
omson LLP. She practises management-
side labour and employment law. She acts
for a wide variety of employers in both fed-
erally and provincially regulated industries
such as financial and professional services,
energy, manufacturing, construction and
information technology.
MLT Aikins LLP welcomed Jonathan
Troyer as counsel. He advises on general
commercial matters and in connection
with M&A, corporate reorganizations,
projects and financing transactions. Troyer
returns to the firm aer more than six years
serving as senior in-house counsel for a
multinational corporation.
Arthur Opalinski joined Miller om-
son LLP as an associate. His practice focus-
es on commercial leasing, commercial real
estate transactions, condominium develop-
ment, municipal planning and expropria-
tion, as well as real estate financing.
