Bill Horton practices as an arbitrator in Canadian and international business disputes.
He has been appointed tribunal chair and sole arbitrator and party appointee in over 120 substantial
disputes, including ad hoc and institutional arbitrations involving nuclear facilities, telecom, aircra parts,
satellite and wireless industry disputes, government contracts, soware licenses, manufacturing, licensing
and distribution. He has served as a member of the NAFTA 2022 Committee and as past Chair of the
International Litigation Committee of the International Bar Association. He also serves as the course
director and principal instructor for the ADRIC Gold Standard Commercial Arbitration Course presented
