Gerald Chan practices public law litigation, with expertise in criminal, constitutional and regulatory law.
He defends clients charged with white-collar and financial crime, computer crime and regulatory offenses
under provincial and federal statutes. He advises clients on privacy issues (including search warrants
and production orders), counsels regulatory bodies conducting investigations, and acts as Independent
Supervising Solicitor for Anton Piller and related orders. He has been counsel in 19 cases in the Supreme
Court of Canada, including five digital privacy cases, a Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act case and
a Securities Act case. Chan has been recognized as a leading public law litigator by Best Lawyers in Canada,
Lexpert® and Benchmark Litigation. He was awarded the Osgoode Alumni Gold Key in the "One-to-Watch"
category and recognized as a Precedent Setter. He co-authored Sentencing (9th ed.) and is co-editor of For

Jordan Goldblatt is a partner at Adair Barristers LLP. Goldblatt's practice focuses on the litigation of
complex claims, including matters of contract, tort, corporate law/governance, insolvency, defamation,
estate and employment law. He is regularly retained by licensed professionals and professional associations.
Goldblatt has acted as lead counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, and as well at six lengthy inquests
under the Coroners Act where he represented licensed professionals. Goldblatt acts on behalf of national
sports organizations and elite athletes in sports-related disputes. Goldblatt's practice also encompasses

Martin's practice focuses on union-side labor law, human rights, and public
and administrative law. She regularly acts in matters before administrative tribunals and has appeared before
every level of court in Ontario and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Martin uses her strong interpersonal
skills to bring a practical approach to the law, focusing on efficient and cost-effective solutions for her clients.
She has a particular interest in appellate advocacy and has assisted union and institutional clients with
judicial review applications and appeals. Martin acts for unions and associations in grievance and interest
arbitrations, before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
She is frequently asked to speak at conferences and seminars on issues related to labor law, human rights and
