mercial real estate practice group.
Lawson Lundell LLP welcomed Michael
Li, Garrett Lee and Irene Chen as associ-
ates in the firm's business law practice group.
Patrick omson joined Lawson Lun-
dell as an associate in the firm's mining prac-
tice group.
Alex Bayer joined Koffman Kalef LLP.
He practises corporate finance and securi-
ties, mergers and acquisitions and corporate
and commercial law.
Banreet Garcha joined the corporate
commercial group of Koffman Kalef LLP as
an associate.
DuMoulin Black LLP welcomed Jona-
than (J.J.) Hudolin as an associate in the
firm's corporate finance and M&A practice.
He was previously with Burstall Winger

Tara Amiri-Khaledi joined Gowling
WLG (Canada) LLP as an associate. She
practices corporate and securities law with
emphasis on corporate finance.
McCullough O'Connor Irwin LLP wel-
comed Tajinder Rathor as an associate. He

In Calgary, Dennis Langen moved his en-
ergy practice to Stikeman Elliott LLP, where
he is now a partner. He focuses on energy
regulation, and has significant experience
with facilities, energy development, energy
export/import and economic regulation.
He appears before the National Energy
Board, the Alberta Energy Regulator, the

lawyer Elizabeth Brown is now a
principal at Brown Mills Klinck Pre-
zioso LLP, a firm that she founded
along with Lisa Mills, Terra Klinck
and John Prezioso. All were former-
ly partners with Hicks Morley Ham-
ilton Stewart Storie LLP. Brown
appears as counsel on pension
litigation disputes and corporate
transactions. She recently acted
as labour and pension counsel to
Stelco in its restructuring. Earlier
this year, she was awarded the
2017 OBA Award of Excellence in
Pensions and Benefits Law.

Alison Gray moved her litigation
practice to Gowling WLG (Canada)
LLP, where she is now a partner.
She regularly appears on matters
such as an $80-million engineer-
ing/construction dispute, and an
appeal from an Alberta Utilities
Commission decision. She also
advises on public law matters,
including Constitutional and Aborig-
inal law. An active member of the
community, she recently served
as co-counsel for the Intervenor
Coalition in the Canadian Judicial
Council Inquiry Regarding the Hon-
ourable Justice Robin Camp.
Anita Banicevic of Davies Ward
Phillips & Vineberg LLP was ap-
pointed Chair of the Competition
Law Section of the Canadian Bar
Association. She is responsible
for guiding the Section's executive
committee and activities in the
upcoming year. Banicevic has over
15 years of experience advising
domestic and international clients
on all aspects of the Competition
Act and Investment Canada Act.
Her recent matters include, for ex-
ample, acting for Rogers Sugar Inc.
in connection with the acquisition
of L.B. Maple Treat Corp.
