Laborie is a fully integrated medical device company with a market-leading position in urology and a rapidly growing gastroen- terology business. Since being acquired by Audax in 2012, Laborie has completed 14 acquisitions to expand product lines and enter international markets. Health Research Advertising & Marketing E-Commerce Construction & Engineering Consumer Staples BLUE GOOSE ACQUIRES TENDER CHOICE CLOSING DATE: OCTOBER 19, 2016 On October 19, 2016, Tender Choice Foods Inc. and its affiliate ("Tender Choice"), a leading Burlington, Ont.-based processor spe- cializing in the processing, packing and distribution of meat prod- ucts completed the sale of substantially all of the assets and food processing business of Tender Choice to Blue Goose Pure Capital Corp. ("Blue Goose"), a privately held Canada-based protein and organic food company, which is a subsidiary of Dundee Corpora- tion (TSX: DC.A). Tender Choice was represented by Borden Ladner Gervais LLP with a team led by Anthony Milazzo that included Jim El- der, Stephen Nguyen (M&A), Natasha Miklaucic (tax) and Denes Rothschild (competition). Richard Applebaum of Brattys LLP acted as representative for Paletta Bros. Four Limited, which is an affiliate of Tender Choice, on real property matters. Founded in 1994, Communauto Inc. is one of the largest car-sharing services in North America.
