Laurent Nahmiash is Co-chair of the National Class Action Practice Group. His practice focuses on class-ac-
tion defense work and commercial and insurance litigation. He represents automotive and other manufactur-
ers and finance companies in various consumer-protection and product-liability class actions. He is involved
in securities class actions and has successfully defended pharmaceutical clients in various class actions. He has
considerable commercial litigation and arbitration experience and has been involved in a number of cross-bor-

Considered by many to be one of Ontario's most respected civil litigators, Dave Williams specializes in
complex commercial litigation, class actions, plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice. As a veteran
litigator, Williams's 30+ year career has brought him before the Trial Division, the Court of Appeal and the
Supreme Court of Canada. He has been involved in many high-profile cases, including being a member of the
plaintiffs' class-action group for the Walkerton contaminated water claim as well as a landmark Aboriginal

Ken McEwan practices corporate commercial, securities and competition liti-
gation at both trial and appellate levels. His class-action representations include 3M, Capital One and Cargill,
for whom he successfully acted in the Supreme Court of Canada. He also has a significant arbitration practice
and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. His peer review rankings include a Martindale-
Hubbell rating of AV and Benchmark' s British Columbia Litigator of the Year for each of 2013-2016. He is
a Director of both the International Society of Barristers and e Advocates' Society, and a member of the
