PRIVATE OFFERING
CLOSING DATE: JULY 22, 2016
On July 22, 2016, Dollarama Inc. completed
a private offering of $525 million aggregate
principal amount of 2.337 per cent sen-
ior unsecured notes due July 22, 2021 (the
Notes). e Notes were offered through an
agency syndicate consisting of RBC Capital
Markets and CIBC Capital Markets, as joint
bookrunners and co-lead private placement
agents, and including National Bank Finan-
cial Inc., TD Securities Inc., Desjardins Se-
curities Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc.
Dollarama Inc. was led in-house by Josée
Kouri, Vice-President, Legal Affairs and
Corporate Secretary; and by a team from
Stikeman Elliott LLP that included Robert
Carelli, Jeremy Sculnick and Jason Paper-
man (corporate and securities) and Frank
Mathieu (tax).
e agency syndicate was represented by
Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP with
a team composed of Stephen Kelly, Amelie

ALLIED PROPERTIES REIT
COMPLETES OFFERING
CLOSING DATE: AUGUST 19, 2016
On August 19, 2016, Allied Properties Real
Estate Investment Trust ("Allied Proper-
ties REIT") completed a public offering of
6,089,250 units (inclusive of 794,250 units
issued pursuant to the exercise in full of the
underwriters' over-allotment option) at a
price of $37.80 per unit for gross proceeds
of just over $230 million. e units were of-
fered on a bought deal basis by a syndicate
of underwriters co-led by Scotiabank and
RBC Capital Markets, and including BMO
Capital Markets, CIBC, TD Securities Inc.,
Desjardins Securities Inc., Canaccord Genu-
ity Corp. and Raymond James Ltd.
Aird & Berlis LLP represented Allied
Properties REIT with a team composed of
Margaret Nelligan, Sherri Altshuler, Anne
Miatello, Melanie Cole and Daniel Ever-
all (corporate and securities), Mike Smith
