On June 21, 2016, the Province of Alberta
completed an offering of $1.9 billion princi-
pal amount series DN 1.35 per cent bonds
due September 1, 2021.
e offering was completed by a syndi-
cate of underwriters that was led by Scotia
Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., e
Toronto-Dominion Bank, BMO Nesbitt
Burns Inc., National Bank Financial Inc. and
RBC Dominion Securities Inc., and includ-
ing Desjardins Securities Inc., Casgrain &
Company Ltd., Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.,
Laurentian Bank Securities Inc., HSBC Se-
curities (Canada) Inc., and Canaccord Genu-
ity Group Inc.
e Province of Alberta was represented
by Michael Gluckman and Christopher
