John McLean is a partner in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office practicing in insolvency matters, including
bankruptcy, CCAA proceedings, foreclosures and creditor and debtor rights. McLean's corporate restructur-
ing practice is extensive and includes representing key players/stakeholders in a wide variety of industries. He
has acted as counsel for trustees in bankruptcy, monitors under CCAA proceedings, as well as creditors and
debtors, and has been involved in most major insolvency matters in British Columbia. He also has extensive
cross-border insolvency experience in the United States and the United Kingdom. McLean has lectured at
