Paul Avis is a senior partner and Co-chair of the Financial Services Group. Avis has extensive experience in
banking, finance, debt restructuring and real estate. He routinely counsels and represents Canadian and for-

transactions. Avis's work experience encompasses all areas of debt financing, including syndicated loans, asset-
based lending, real estate project and portfolio financing, receivables financing, subordinated debt and mez-
