cier says the proposed Lowe's/Rona merger is being
viewed by some M&A watchers as a possible test case
in terms of Investment Canada and foreign investment
review. "We haven't had a high-profile review recently;
the Liberal government has said it's open for business,
so I think it's fair to say this proposed merger is being
watched very carefully."
