Kelt Exploration acquires
Artek Exploration
CLOSING DATE: APRIL 16, 2015
On April 16, 2015, Kelt Exploration Ltd.
(Kelt) completed the acquisition of Artek
Exploration Ltd. (Artek) for approximately
$320 million in accordance with a previous-
ly announced Plan of Arrangement (the Ar-
rangement). Pursuant to the Arrangement,
Artek became a wholly owned subsidiary of
Kelt and Artek's name was changed to Kelt
Exploration (LNG) Ltd.
Kelt is a Calgary-based oil and gas com-
pany focused on exploration, development
and production of crude oil and natural gas
resources, primarily in west central Alberta
and northeastern British Columbia.
Kelt was represented by Borden Ladner
Gervais LLP with a team that included
William Guinan, Louise Lee, Michael Sa-
liken and Ravi Latour (securities), Colin
MacDonald (competition), Laurie Robson

Renewable Energy Trust
acquires three power plants
from Canadian Solar
CLOSING DATE: MARCH 30, 2015
On March 30, 2015, a subsidiary of Renew-
able Energy Trust Capital, Inc. acquired
CityLights solar power project, a 10-mega-
watt AC solar power plant, from CSI Solar
Project 16 Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian
Solar Inc. Two other 10-megawatt AC solar
power plants, DiscoveryLight and Foto-
Light, were acquired by the same subsidiary
on December 31, 2014. e acquisitions
were financed through a hybrid credit and
note purchase arrangement arranged by
Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale,
New York Branch, and Babson Capital
Management LLC.
Renewable Energy Trust was represented
in Canada, in respect of the acquisition,
by Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP with
a team consisting of Ken Pearce, Andrew
ompson, Leslie Wong and Yoni Grund-
land (corporate), Daniel Kofman (real es-

Peyto Exploration
& Development Corp.
completes financing
CLOSING DATE: APRIL 16, 2015
On April 16, 2015, Peyto Exploration &
Development Corp. (Peyto) completed a
bought deal offering of 5,037,000 common
shares, including 657,000 common shares
issued pursuant to the exercise in full of the
over-allotment grated to the underwrit-
ers, at a price of $34.25 per common share
for total gross proceeds of approximately
$172.5 million.
Peyto is an explorer and producer of un-
conventional natural gas, operating in Al-
berta's Deep Basin.
