Jon Holmstrom is the Leader of Fasken Martineau's Banking & Finance Practice
Group. His practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional lending, derivative products, project
fi nance (mining, wind, solar, ethanol and other), corporate and commercial lending,
securitizations, note purchase and high-yield debt transactions, equipment (including
aircra ) leasing, debt restructurings and structured fi nance. He has advised clients on
fi nancing matters related to the computer so ware, cable, transportation, steel, fi nan-
cial leasing, commercial real estate, fi nancial (including brokerage), logistics, automotive,
telecommunications, architecture, commodities, aggregates, manufacturing, process-
ing, amusement park, retail, funeral services, health care, mining, green energy (wind
and solar), agribusiness (including ethanol) and petrochemical industries. Holmstrom
is actively involved in structuring and documenting fi nancial, equity and commodity
derivative and securities lending transactions for fi nancial institutions, mutual funds and
other end-users. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1981.
