ORBCOMM COMPLETES
ACQUISITION OF SKYWAVE
Closing date: January 1, 2015 ORBCOMM
Inc., a global provider of Machine-to-Ma-
chine (M2M) solutions, completed the ac-
quisition of SkyWave Mobile Communica-
tions Inc., the largest M2M service provider
on the Inmarsat global L-band satellite net-
work for approximately US$130 million.
SkyWave, an Ottawa-based company, will
add more than 250,000 subscribers, 400
channel partners, and annualized revenues
of over $60 million to ORBCOMM.
ORBCOMM was led by Chris LeB-
run, Executive Vice President and General
Counsel, and Clay Sanders, Vice-Presi-

NEWALTA COMPLETES SALE
OF ITS INDUSTRIAL DIVISION
Closing date: February 27, 2015 On Febru-
ary 27, 2015, Calgary-based Newalta Cor-
poration (Newalta) completed the sale of
its Industrial Division to Revolution Ac-
quisition LP (Revolution), a subsidiary of
Toronto-based Birch Hill Equity Partners
Management Inc. (Birch Hill), for cash
proceeds of $300 million.
! e Industrial Division comprises sever-
al business streams including major facili-
ties and assets located across Canada. ! e
sale creates a new stand-alone company,
Terrapure Environmental, which has its
headquarters in Burlington, Ontario.

(Virginia) for approximately $461 mil-
lion, pursuant to a plan of arrangement.
