His practice focuses on advocacy matters related to domestic and cross-border bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring proceed- ings. He has acted in many high-profi le insolvency proceedings representing a wide array of stakeholders, including court offi cers, debtors and creditors at all levels of the capital structure and government agencies. Kauff man is certifi ed as a Specialist in both bank- ruptcy and insolvency and civil litigation by e Law Society of Upper Canada. He is a Director of the Insolvency Institute of Canada and a member of the International Associa- tion of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals, the American Bankruptcy Institute and Turnaround Management Association (Toronto Chapter). He is frequently recognized for his insolvency and restructuring law expertise in leading legal publications. Kauff man was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979. Andy Kent's business law practice is focused on restructuring and debt fi nance. For many years he has been rated in leading directories as a preeminent restructuring practi- tioner, as a leading banking lawyer and as one of Canada's foremost business lawyers. Kevin McElcheran (MCIArb) uses more than 30 years of experience as one of Canada's leading commercial restructuring lawyers and his training as a mediator of commercial disputes to assist business people in building successful restructuring solutions on the foundation of viable business plans. He has opened his own offi ce to take appointments (either by court order or by agreement) as a neutral to facilitate negotiation of critical issues as they arise and to expedite the restructuring process.
