public companies, fi nancial institutions and government. Has practiced before the SCC,
FCC, all levels of courts in Ontario and many administrative tribunals. Lead counsel in
some of the most important, high-profi le cases that have recently been decided in Canada,
including the litigation involving the restructuring of the Asset-Backed Commercial Paper
market, the contest over the acquisition of BCE, the Danier Leather class action, and the

Peter Wardle is a founding partner of Wardle Daley Bernstein Bieber LLP, a leading
Toronto litigation boutique, which has a hard-earned reputation for its work in corporate
commercial litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, class actions, directors' and
offi cers' liability and professional liability. Wardle helped build this reputation over the
course of many arbitrations, applications, trials and appeals involving shareholder and
partnership disputes, securities, D&O liability, competition, professional negligence, es-
tates, and real estate development. In addition, Wardle has appeared before a wide variety
of regulatory tribunals, including the Ontario Securities Commission and the College of

Suzanne Côté is a partner and the head of the Montréal Litigation Group. She prac-
tices commercial litigation (breach of commercial contracts, representation of banks,
bankruptcy and insolvency, shareholder disputes, Competition Act, various real estate
matters, including commercial leasing, manufacturers' liability, class actions), as well as
litigation in civil and administrative matters, such as judicial review before the federal
courts and the investigation conducted by the Québec Court of Appeal regarding the
removal from offi ce of a judge of an inferior tribunal (Côté was then assisting the Court
of Appeal). She pleads before all jurisdictions: Superior Court of Québec, Québec Court
