NCE Diversified Flow-Through (14) Limited Partnership
completed its initial public offering, raising total gross pro-
ceeds of approximately $74 million.
The partnership was created for the purpose of investing
in flow-through shares of resource companies in the oil and
gas, mineral and renewable energy sectors.
The syndicate of agents was co-led by RBC Capital Mar-
kets and CIBC, and included National Bank Financial Inc.,
BMO Capital Markets, Scotiabank, TD Securities Inc.,
Canaccord Genuity Corp., GMP Securities L.P., Manulife
Securities Incorporated, Desjardins Securities Inc., Ray-
mond James Ltd., Burgeonvest Bick Securities Limited,
Dundee Securities Ltd., Laurentian Bank Securities, Inc.
and Mackie Research Capital Corporation.

SURGE ENERGY
ACQUIRES LONGVIEW OIL
Closing date: June 5, 2014
Surge Energy Inc. and Longview Oil Corp. completed a
business combination whereby Surge has acquired all of
the issued and outstanding common shares of Longview
pursuant to an arrangement under the Business Corpora-
tions Act (Alberta).
The arrangement, valued at approximately $430 mil-
lion for Longview, includes Surge's previously announced
acquisition of 9.3 million (19.8 percent) Longview com-
mon shares at a price of $4.45 per share. Longview share-
