CRESCENT POINT ENERGY ACQUIRES CANERA ENERGY Closing date: May 15, 2014 Crescent Point Energy Corp., one of Canada's largest light and medium oil producers, acquired CanEra Energy Corp, a privately held oil and gas producer in southeast Saskatch- ewan, by way of plan of arrangement. Pursuant to the arrangement, Crescent Point acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of CanEra. The total consideration for CanEra was approximately $1.1 bil- lion, including approximately 12.9 million common shares of Crescent Point, approximately $190 million of cash con- sideration and the assumption of approximately $348 mil- lion of net debt.
