PROVIDENCE CARE CENTRE COMPLETES FINANCIAL CLOSE WITH PRIVATE-SECTOR PARTNER INTEGRATED TEAM SOLUTIONS PCH PARTNERSHIP TO CONSTRUCT PROVIDENCE CARE HOSPITAL Closing date: November 29, 2013 Providence Care Centre, operating under the trade name Providence Care, with its co-sponsor Infrastructure Ontar- io, reached financial close with Integrated Team Solutions PCH Partnership for the design, build, finance and mainte- nance of the Providence Care Hospital Project. The Providence Care Hospital will be a state-of-the-art facility consolidating the services that are currently provid- ed at the Providence Care St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Complex Continu- ing Care, Palliative Care, Geriatric Medicine) and Mental Health Services (Specialized Mental Health and Forensics) sites. The 270-bed, 618,000-square-foot facility will be built on the existing Kingston Provincial Campus of On- tario Infrastructure & Lands Corporation, adjacent to the site of the existing Mental Health Services facility. The hos- pital will be designed and built to meet the Canada Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmen- tal Design (LEED Canada-NC) rating system, with a goal of achieving LEED Canada-NC Silver certification. The Providence Care Hospital Project is being delivered using an Alternative Financing and Procurement model. Integrated Team Solutions PCH Partnership will receive annual payments from Providence Care Hospital over a 30- year period following construction completion. Payments cover construction, building maintenance, lifecycle repair and renewal, and project financing. The annual payments are comparable to a fixed-rate mortgage with maintenance and repair expenses included and, along with payments made at substantial completion, will total approximately $901 million after 30 years (approximately $810 million in today's dollars). Integrated Team Solutions PCH Partnership's team members include Fengate Capital Management Ltd., OE Infrastructure Fund L.P., Pacific Gateway Infrastructure Fund L.P., Fengate Greenfield Infrastructure Fund L.P., Toronto Electrical Workers Infrastructure Fund L.P., and EllisDon Capital Inc., together with EllisDon Design Build Inc. providing construction services and Johnson Controls Canada LP, as service provider.
