Andison's practice focuses on a wide variety of M&A, capital markets and other fi nancing transactions, with a particular emphasis on high-yield and other debt securities off erings and liability management transactions, as well as novel equity and equity-linked off erings. Andison has also represented numer- ous companies in connection with complex reorganizations and restructurings. His clients include underwriters, issuers, fi nancial sponsors, lenders and borrowers based in Canada, the United States, Central and South America and Europe. » George Antonopoulos's expertise is in the area of energy law acting for energy compa- nies on a broad range of commercial transactions. His practice focuses primarily on the planning, dra ing, negotiation and completion of complex energy transactions and project work in both the upstream and midstream oil and gas sectors, including advising clients with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, joint-venture arrange- ments, commodity transportation, terminalling and storage arrangements, corporate re-organizations, and energy project development. Antonopoulos has developed a specialized expertise with respect to joint venture/partnership relationships in large- scale energy projects, specifi cally in the unconventional resource areas of oil sands and shale gas development. He also frequently advises on both the transporter and shipper side of oil and gas pipeline transportation projects, including with respect to the dra ing and negotiation of long-term transportation arrangements. » Aaron Atkinson's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate fi nance. Atkinson has extensive experience in both domestic and inter- national cross-border matters, advising buyers in developing and executing acquisition strategies in both public and private-sale transactions and other strategic mandates as well as issuers, boards and board committees, including in contested take-over transac- tions, proxy contests, internal investigations and day-to-day governance issues. Atkinson also advises issuers, underwriters and investors in capital-raising activities both in public capital markets and in the exempt market. Outside of his practice, Atkinson serves as a sessional instructor at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, where he has organized and taught a course in Corporate Finance and M&A since 2007.
