as mergers & acquisitions. Practice concentrates principally on technology companies.
Advises Canadian and foreign corporations, investors and underwriters on private and
public company matters and on all aspects of Canadian securities regulation. Has been
involved in over 100 venture capital fi nancings raising an aggregate of more than C$1.5
billion. Has also been involved in many Canadian and cross-border IPOs, acting for
both issuers and underwriters. Acted for Mitel Networks on its cross-border IPO and
recent acquisition of Aastra Technologies. Admitted to the Ontario Bar (1987).
