Chris Bennett leads Osler's Project Finance practice in Toronto and focuses on fi nancial
services with an emphasis on project fi nance, infrastructure, public-private partnerships
and structured fi nance. Bennett has extensive experience acting for domestic and
international lenders, developers, equity sponsors and other participants in connection
with major projects in many Canadian jurisdictions across a variety of sectors, including
social infrastructure, transportation and energy. Bennett is a member of the adjunct
faculty at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law where he teaches a course on the
Law and Policy of Public Private Partnerships in Canada. Bennett has been ranked as
a leading lawyer in the project fi nance/public-private partnerships area in a number of
international legal publications and directories.
