Bertrand is a senior partner of Norton Rose Fulbright in Canada and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is the managing partner of the Norton Rose Fulbright Montréal office. He focuses on commercial and corporate litigation, as well as class actions and arbitration, and on administrative law, with emphasis on regulated activity such as competition, transportation, international trade and energy. He frequently appears before Québec and federal courts, as well as before regulatory boards. He has also appeared before parliamentary commissions and other government bodies regarding proposed changes to legislation or to government policies. He has extensive experience representing the Canadian and Québec governments in negotiations with First Nations people. Pierre Bienvenu, AdE, is a senior partner of Norton Rose Fulbright in Canada, the Global Co-head of International Arbitration at Norton Rose Fulbright and a member of Norton Rose Fulbright's supervisory board. Practices in international commercial arbitration, corporate and commercial litigation, and constitutional law. Acted as counsel in numerous international arbitrations involving disputes in telecommunications, aeronautics, joint ventures, construction, M&A and foreign investment.
