Pierre Bienvenu, AdE, is a senior partner of Norton Rose Fulbright in Canada, the Global Co-head International Arbitration at Norton Rose Fulbright and a member of Norton Rose Fulbright's supervisory board. Practices in international commercial arbitration, corporate and commercial litigation, and constitutional law. Acted as counsel in numerous international arbitrations involving disputes in telecommunications, aeronautics, joint ventures, construction, M&A and foreign investment. Also represents parties in court proceedings to enforce or set aside arbitral awards. Regularly serves as arbitrator in international arbitrations. A member and Vice President of the LCIA Court, and President of the LCIA's North American Users' Council. Has pleaded before the courts of Québec, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada and participated in numerous challenges to the constitutional validity of provincial and federal legislation. A fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he is fluent in English and French. Stephen L. Drymer joined Woods as partner and Head of International Arbitration and ADR in January 2013 after many years as co-chair of International Arbitration at a major Canadian and international firm. A member of the Bar since 1991, his practice is focused on domestic and international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. He acts as counsel, as well as arbitrator and mediator, in domestic and international commercial and investment disputes, and advises parties on a broad range of issues associated with the design, negotiation, drafting and implementation of dispute resolution agreements and strategies. He also advises and represents clients in matters of public international law and dispute resolution, including matters involving maritime delimitation and trans-boundary resource management, and he is as well very active as counsel and arbitrator in the resolution of sport-related disputes in Canada and internationally. A member of numerous rosters arbitrators and mediators, Drymer is recognized as one of the world's leading international lawyers and arbitrators. Joined Woods LLP as Senior Counsel in 2009 upon retiring from Québec Court of Appeal. Practice focuses on domestic and international arbitration and mediation. Appointed Claims Officer to decide disputed claims in the restructuring and reorganization of the AbitibiBowater companies. Before appointment to court specialized in litigation, appeared as counsel before the SCC and all other levels of courts. Was counsel before several Federal Commissions of Inquiry. Lectures on arbitration and mediation. Recently at I.B.A. Conference delivered paper on "Public Policy invoked as a ground for contesting the enforcement of an arbitral award or for seeking its annulment." One of authors of arbitration chapter in LegisPratique: Code de procédure civile annoté. Member of Québec Bar, CBA, LCIA, IBA, ICC Canada and ICDR panel of arbitrators. Named QC (1976).
