In her extensive litigation practice, Monique Jilesen acts as lead counsel in highly complex proceedings from inception through to trial. Her areas of specialty include contract and shareholder disputes, civil fraud, pension issues, bankruptcy and insolvency matters, securities and derivatives cases, and professional liability. She also has deep experience in the emerging area of e-discovery. Jilesen is on the Gale Cup Moot Committee, which oversees one of Canada's most prestigious law school competitions. She also teaches in the Intensive Trial Advocacy program at Osgoode Hall Law School and in continuing legal education programs sponsored by The Advocates' Society. James Kondopulos is a partner (practicing through a law corporation) with the Vancouver-based employment and labor law boutique of Roper Greyell LLP. He acts for and provides legal advice to employers in employment, labor relations and human rights matters. He also provides representation to employers and employees in wrongful dismissal actions, and investigates and reports on allegations of workplace harassment, bullying and code of conduct violations. James has appeared before all levels of court and a wide range of employment-related administrative tribunals in British Columbia.
