Geoff Adair's practice is focused entirely on trial and appellate advocacy. Adair's courtroom experience is virtually unparalleled, having appeared at all levels of courts and
conducted more than 250 jury and non-jury cases trial plus in excess of 150 appeals. Adair
has appeared in the Supreme Court of Canada on several occasions. Adair is a fellow of
the American College of Trial Lawyers, and has been named as one of Canada's 500
leading lawyers in the Lexpert®/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in
Canada. He is the author of the critically acclaimed advocacy text On Trial (Butterworths, 2nd edition, 2004) and a frequent lecturer to the profession. Adair practices
primarily in the fields of commercial litigation, class actions and major tort matters,
acting for corporations, insurers and individual plaintiffs.
