Judith Robinson is regional leader of Norton Rose Fulbright in Canada's Québec
intellectual property practice. Her practice is primarily in IP litigation with particular emphasis on patent cases and related opinion work and strategic advice, including
freedom to operate, infringement and invalidity analyses. Robinson has been lead
counsel on a number of significant court cases including patent trials in aerospace and
pharmaceuticals, appellate work and the judicial review of administrative decisions in
these areas. Many of these cases require cross-border coordination with parallel litigation in the US and Europe. She has been active in litigation and strategic work related to
the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations since the introduction of this
regime in 1993, as well as the current data protection legislation.
