Peter Wiazowski is a seasoned practitioner in cross-border capital markets and banking, both in Canada and the US.
Wiazowski is responsible for the origination and execution of debt financing and equity transactions across numerous
industries, including financial services, healthcare/life sciences, transportation, energy, mining, telecommunications, and
fintech/martech. He leads transactions in connection with all aspects of credit structuring and liability management,
including debt offerings and placements, secured credit facilities, debt tender offers, and refinancings, as well as debt
capital markets and alternative lending solutions for M&A, project finance, and infrastructure, in addition to institutional
equity capital markets initiatives. He also advises companies on securities regulatory and compliance matters, continuous
disclosure obligations, and risk management and controls. In recent years, he also advised on transition, compliance,
and policy matters relating to interest rate benchmark transition (CORRA and SOFR). He is currently Norton Rose
Fulbright's national practice coordinator for banking and debt capital markets.
