Software Award for Best Use of Technology in a Law Firm, which is open to all Canada-based law firms and is
assessed on the extent to which the nominee has pushed through technological innovation and implemented

The Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP Award for Construction, Infrastructure, and Transportation
Law Department of the Year is open to all Canada-based legal departments working in construction,
infrastructure, or transportation organizations. The Lawson Lundell LLP Award for Law Department
of the Year is open to all Canada-based general counsel, chief legal officers, and legal heads in in-house
positions; it recognizes the transactions and other initiatives they have spearheaded and the leadership
they've demonstrated.
Dye & Durham has sponsored two Lifetime Achievement Awards, one for in-house lawyers and the other
for lawyers in private practice. The awards recognize leaders with a minimum of 30 years of experience who
have significantly contributed to advancing the Canadian legal profession or justice system.
Finally, the Lincoln Alexander School of Law Award for Shaping the Future is for all Canada-based law
firms, especially small and medium-sized firms. The nominees are judged on the concrete steps taken during
2023 to demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, strengthen access to justice for
underrepresented communities, advance legal services through innovation, and invest in legal education
through mentorship.
