In Vancouver, Ranj Sangra joined Pinnacle

Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Pinna-
cle, he spent nearly 10 years at Ritchie Bros.
Auctioneers, most recently as Vice President,
Legal Affairs.
Dentons Canada LLP welcomed Geoff
Bowman to the firm as a partner in its Con-
struction, Infrastructure and PPP, and Liti-
gation and Dispute Resolution groups.
ALBERTA CALGARY
In Calgary, McCarthy Tétrault LLP wel-
comed Mark Christensen as a partner and
leader of the Real Property and Planning
Group. His practice focuses on a wide range
of commercial real estate transactions.
Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP added
three new partners to its Calgary office:
Caireen Hanert, Josh Jantzi and Jonathan
( Jay) Lalach. Hanert joined the firm's Re-
structuring and Insolvency and Commercial
Litigation groups; Jantzi joined its Environ-
mental and Indigenous Law groups, among
others; and Lalach joined its Natural Resour-
ces Group.
Rick Skeith and James O'Sullivan joined
the Corporate Group of Dentons Canada
LLP as partners. Skeith's practice concentrates
on securities and corporate finance matters.
O'Sullivan provides corporate and commer-
cial advice to private and public issuers.
SASKATCHEWAN SASKATOON
In Saskatoon, Scott Spencer moved to Miller
omson LLP. He advises on a wide range of
matters including personal injury, employ-
ment and labour law, commercial litigation,
professional discipline, and estate litigation.
ONTARIO TORONTO, HAMILTON
Aer spending the year as a fellow with the
Mozilla Foundation, hosted by the Citizen
Lab at the University of Toronto's Munk
Vance Langford launched his new
venture: Langford Law. The new firm
— founded in August — focuses on
corporate, commercial and business
immigration law. Langford represents
both business clients and individuals
on global mobility and immigration
matters. He also has extensive
experience negotiating and docu-
menting acquisitions, divestitures,
reorganizations and other complex
business transactions. Langford is
Past Chair of Canadian Bar Associ-
ation's National Immigration Law Sec-
tion. He is licensed to practice law in
both Alberta and Massachusetts.

Catherine Brayley moved her practice
to Miller Thomson LLP where she is
now a partner. She is known for her
creative and strategic approach to
complex taxation matters. She has ex-
tensive experience resolving disputes
at the audit and appeal levels within
the Canada Revenue Agency, as well
as with M&A, corporate reorganiza-
tions, structuring international and do-
mestic investments, and personal tax
and estate planning. Brayley was part
of group that founded the Canadian
Bar Association's Tax Law for Lawyers
program, and is a long-standing mem-
ber of its faculty.
Gary Rose moved his banking and
finance practice to Dentons Canada
LLP. He represents banks, other lend-
ers and borrowers with respect to their
corporate and commercial financing
matters. Rose has international and
domestic experience in both bilateral
and syndicated transactions. He ad-
vises from the pre-term sheet stage
through due diligence, negotiation,
drafting and completion. Rose's clients
have included Sprott Resource Lending
Corp. and The Bank of Nova Scotia
among others. Prior to his legal career,
Rose held various senior positions in
in the banking industry.
