(NYSE:BWXT) (BWXT), a leading supplier of nuclear components and services, completed the acquisition of the medical isotope business of Nor- dion (Canada) Inc. (Nordion) from private-equity owned Sotera Health LLC (Sotera Health). is transformative acquisition sup- ports BWXT's entry into the radioisotopes industry with the de- velopment of a breakthrough proprietary technology to provide a stable, clean and cost-disruptive North American supply of critical medical isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals for research, diagnostic and therapeutic uses. e acquisition from Nordion adds licensed infrastructure, approximately 150 highly trained and experienced personnel, and two production centers (in Kanata and British Co- lumbia) to BWXT's business.
