Kate Broer, a partner at Dentons Can-
ada LLP in Toronto, filled a new role in
promoting women's business development,
adding to her current responsibilities as

ment program.
Paul Morrison joined Miller omson
LLP as a partner in its Litigation Group in
Toronto. Morrison is recognized for his ex-
pertise in complex corporate and commer-

Adam Kline is now a partner in the

Maurer as a partner in its Litigation and
Cannabis Law groups. Maurer is now Vice-

Brenda Swick joined Cassels Brock &
Blackwell LLP as a partner with a focus on

Bennett Jones LLP welcomed Matthew
Flynn as a partner in Toronto. Flynn advis-
es technology customers and providers. He
has 20 years of experience in Canada and
the United States in leading-edge technol-
ogy transactions.
Bobby Solhi is now a partner in Bor-
den Ladner Gervais LLP's Tax Group. His
practice focuses on the GST/HST and
commodity taxes as well as tax planning for
privately held companies and their owners.

Nikiforos (Niki) Iatrou is now a partner
in the competition law practice of
McCarthy Tétrault LLP. He is frequently
retained by Canadian and multi-
national clients seeking competition
compliance advice or involved in anti-
trust investigations. He focuses on
high-stakes, contentious competition
issues, including mergers, criminal
cartels, abuses of dominance, false
and misleading advertising claims,
and competition class actions (defence
side). Iatrou has a record of success-
fully arguing precedent-setting cases
before the Competition Tribunal
and Federal Court of Appeal.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner
George Cooper, QC, was appointed
the Chief Executive Officer of Cox &
Palmer, a role that he assumed in July.
He is also New Brunswick Managing
Partner, and has served on the firm's
Board of Directors since 2010. Cooper
maintains a commercial litigation and
transactional practice that emphasizes
disputes, transactions and arbitrations
relating to commercial financing, secur-
ities and secured transactions, bank-
ruptcy and insolvency, product liability,
natural resources and energy, and
insurance matters. Cooper holds an
LL.M. from the University of Cambridge
in Cambridge, England.
