PHASE 2 OF BROCKVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT On March 1, 2018, Brockville General Hospital (BGH) and Infrastructure Ontario (IO) reached financial close with EllisDon Infrastructure BGH Inc. (Project Co) to build the Brockville General Hospital - Phase 2 Redevelopment project. e contract is valued at $131.2 million, which reflects the substantial completion payment. e project will consolidate programs and ser- vices currently offered at the Hospital's Garden and Charles Street sites to a single campus at the Charles Street site. e project involves a combination of new con- struction and renovations, including a new four- storey addition plus mechanical penthouse. At the completion of the project, the Hospital's capacity will increase by 22 beds. BGH and IO were represented by Borden Lad- ner Gervais LLP with a legal team that included Richard Shaban, Rob Blackstein and Andrew Bi- gioni, and an in-house legal team at IO including Agnes von dem Hagen and Carolyn Currie.
