LEXPERT LEADING INFRASTRUCTURE LAWYERS
WE ARE PLEASED to introduce to you the Lexpert-ranked lawyers serv-
ing the Infrastructure sector. And we do so at a time when there may just
be room for optimism: As reported on p. 22 of this Special Edition, the
Canadian government recently announced it will invest $180 billion in In-
frastructure over the next 12 years. Canada's Minister of Infrastructure and
Communities Amarjeet Sohi told attendees at a recent CCPPP event that
the government's Infrastructure plan will focus on five main areas: Public
Transit; Green Infrastructure (including water and sewer systems, and reduc-
ing greenhouse gas emissions); Social Infrastructure (including affordable housing, cultural and
recreational facilities); Trade and Transport; and Rural and Northern Communities.
e Lexpert-ranked lawyers listed here are following this and other developments closely.
